I am the founder of Dadbot Studio the Shoosty Brand, a fine artist and coder.
Stephen Shooster — who works as Shoosty — is a Fine Artist and Software Developer. He is the creator of the Dadbot Studio, a system that exercises advanced AI capabilities for the arts. His intention is to give artists the tools that will leverage their abilities in the modern world.
He spent a career as a technology founder and CEO before turning that same builder's instinct toward his own creative archive. The results are a touring art show, fashion collections based on his patterns, and a technology platform to leverage all the creativity.
His central work is The Horse Adjutant, a musical built from the firsthand testimony of Holocaust survivor Leon Schagrin, who entrusted Stephen with his story and its copyrights. Alongside it stands the Shooster Family Archive — The Herman and Dorothy Shooster memoirs, his grandmother Dora's oral history, and the war-era letters that survived with the family.
To make this kind of work possible — for himself and for other composers — he is building Shoosty Studio, a composition platform for musical theater. The premise is simple: Final Draft is for screenwriters; Shoosty Studio is for musical theater composers. It's restrained, literary, and built to get out of the artist's way.
